Animal Acupuncture

Consultations take place in your home, so that your pet can feel relaxed and ready to enjoy their treatment or at my
Carmarthen Treatment Room

The first appointment takes around one hour and costs £60 plus the visit fee, subsequent treatments take 30-45 minutes and cost £40 plus the visit fee. Visit fees are detailed below. Initially, 4 treatments are usually required to achieve the full effect. After that it varies from animal to animal, often tapering to once a month or less.

Advantages of veterinary acupuncture:

Promotes the body’s own healing and pain-relieving mechanisms.

Fewer side-effects when compared to drugs or surgery.

Complements the use of medical therapy without counter-acting its effect.

Can be used following injury or surgery to aid recovery.

Can be used in performance and working dogs to improve muscle health.

Most animals really enjoy treatment, some even doze off!

Remember: Many pet insurance companies will cover animal acupuncture treatment.
