About me

I graduated as a veterinary surgeon from Bristol University in 2008. I live in the Towy Valley, Carmarthenshire with my husband, a farm animal vet, and my daughter Gwenllian. I  have had an interest in acupuncture since I shadowed a veterinary acupuncturist during my student years and saw first-hand the effect it can have. I attended my training course with the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists in 2012 and since then have been a keen practitioner of this holistic, drug-free technique. In 2015 I established my own veterinary acupuncture service covering the Carmarthenshire area and have provided care for animals living with a range of conditions. I have also recently qualified as a veterinary homeopath, achieving my VetMFHom. As well as using this gentle system of medicine with my small animal patients, I also work with organic farmers to enable them to manage disease without the use of antibiotics.
